Hamilton men attempt EB Games robbery in stolen van

Two would-be thieves tried to use a stolen van to rob two stores in Hamilton early Sunday, police say.
Around 3 a.m., two men drove to an EB Games on Rymal Road East and smashed out the front door, police say. They then made off with an undisclosed amount of goods.
Shortly after, the men broke into East Hamilton Radio at the corner of Kenilworth Avenue North and Barton Street East. When they tried to leave the scene, an officer discovered them and arrested them, police say.
A 23-year-old Hamilton man and a 27-year-old Hamilton man appeared in bail court on charges relating to the crimes Sunday morning.
