4 people injured in early morning Hamilton stabbing

Four people ended up in hospital after a stabbing that took place in downtown Hamilton early Saturday.

Around 3 a.m., police were called to the area of Main and Queen Streets. They found four men suffering with stab wounds.

Two of the men were taken to hospital by ambulance. One of the men had been stabbed in the abdomen, and the other in the back, EMS officials say.

The two other men got to hospital on their own, police say. Two of the four men have been released. The others are still in hospital.

All of their injuries are described as non-life threatening.

No charges have been laid yet. Police are investigating.
