Police are investigating a fire that wrecked two vehicles in Stoney Creek Sunday morning.
Just before 9 a.m., police were called about a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer on fire in a compound at South Service Road and Lewis Road.
“There was a lot of damage,” said Staff Sgt. Scott Balinson. “But the fire was knocked down very quickly.”
“The owner is very distraught,” he said.
The vehicles were not running when the fire happened, and there was no collision. The investigation is ongoing.
