The guys in Of Gentlemen and Cowards got a bit of a shock when they found out who would be featured as a guest on Late Show With David Letterman the same night they're on.
While the band expected some big names, they were really pumped to find out they'd be sharing the stage with actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
“The inner hipster in all of us is extremely excited,” said Christian Fedele, the band's guitarist. “500 Days of Summer, Inception, Batman — I'm a huge fan.”
Gordon-Levitt started out playing the alien-turned teenager Tommy in the sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun. He's also slated to play a young Bruce Willis in the action flick Looper.
“I definitely think we'll meet him — I heard he was a very genuine kind of dude,” Fedele said.
Of Gentlemen and Cowards will be featured on Letterman on Sept. 17.
Mindy Kaling, who plays Kelly Kapoor on the NBC sitcom The Office, will also be on the show the same night as the Hamilton band.
The pop/rock outfit is set to play the Supercrawl main stage at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
They'll be followed the Hamilton Children's Choir, who lent their voices to the song Paper Planes, which is on the band's latest EP, Warminster.
