When police responded to a 9-1-1 call Thursday night they didn't find an emergency but they did find pot.

About 8 p.m. police received a call to a residence on Limeridge Road East near Upper Wellington. When they arrived, there were just two youths in the home and no emergency.

But once inside the home the officers noticed a marijuana grow operation.

Not long after, the homeowners returned to the residence and were arrested on charges of possession and cultivation of marijuana.

Police seized what they say is approximately $4,000 work of marijuana.
