Hamilton driver wanted in Mississauga hit and run

Peel police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 28-year-old Hamilton man after a hit-and-run in Mississauga.

Police say a Burlington man was driving his motorcycle on Lakeshore Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon when he was struck by an SUV in the intersection of Winston Churchill Road.

The 48-year-old motorcyclist was taken to a Toronto-area hospital where he remains in serious condition. Police say the SUV driver fled on foot after the accident.

Police say Christopher Causgrove-Carter is wanted for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to comply with a recognizance.

He is described as 5-foot-7 with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes.
