0800 The devastating impact of Typhoon Haiyan continues to be felt in the Philippines. Here in Ontario, members of Canada's Filipino community have mobilized to help family and friends who've been affected. Toronto musician Casey Mecija is one of those people.

Casey will perform at a special fundraiser in support of disaster relief efforts in the Philippines. It's presented by the Kapisanan Philippine Centre for Arts and Culture and it takes place on December 4th at Toronto's Great Hall.

0830 Jackie Richardson is a commanding presence when she steps on stage to sing. But for many years throughout her long and successful career, she suffered from a serious case of stage fright. She talked about the challenges involved in surmounting it.
