0700 Guest host Karen Gordon previewed today's episode of "The Debaters". The popular CBC Radio One programme is coming to Kitchener-Waterloo and Burlington for a series of recordings.The show will be at the University of Waterloo Theatre Centre on May 27th. And on May 29th, you can see "The Debaters" live on stage at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. All the details are on The Debaters' website.
0730 April was Earth Month. But for one collection of young people, EVERY month is Earth Month. Karen talked with two members of the youth environmental protection organization Earth Rangers---Super Ranger Jovanna Creet and Earth Ranger co-founder and executive director Peter Kendall.

0800 Stanley Kubrick left a fascinating oeuvre of films on his death in 1999. The late director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, and editor's works included "2001 A Space Odyssey", "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Shining". Toronto film critic for The Grid, Adam Nayman, joined Karen to reflect on the career of Stanley Kubrick.
