0730 Sylvia Morrison believes in making a difference. That's why this George Brown Community College professor is going to Ghana. She's taking a group of George Brown students and community members with her...and they're going to build a library. Sylvia is also the founder of the non-profit orgainzation Links Across Borders...and she joined guest host Karen Gordon to talk about her passion for helping people in under-developed parts of Africa.

0830 It's International Record Store Day. Three musicians---Wendy Lands, Marc Jordan and Liam Titcomb---who have vivid memories of their visits to record stores in their youth, joined Karen to reflect on the role those sojourns played in their decisions to become musicians.

Wendy is a regular performer at jazz clubs across Ontario and Quebec.
