0730 Summer is road trip season. Cynthia Kinnunen is a writer and mother of three from Guelph who blogs about family road trips---among other things---for the Bunch Family website. Michael Zhang is an English-Chinese translator and tourism consultant who blogs for Ontario Tourism and Ontario Outdoor Adventure. They joined Mary to talk about the appeal of going on a road trip.

0800 It's being called the "Twitter Olympics". Athletes are using social media to stay in touch with their family, friends and fans. And it's changing the long-established dynamic at the Games by breaking down access barriers. Rhonda McEwan is an assistant professor of New Media at the University of Toronto- Mississauga's Institute of Communication, Culture and IT. She talked with Mary about the impact of social media on the Olympics.
