0800 He's a BIG fan of the movie Big Night. In fact, Toronto chef (and Juno award-winning musician) Carmine Accogli likes the film so much that he holds annual tribute nights to it in his restaurant, The Big Ragu. Carmine joined Mary to talk about the film's impact on both his career and his approach to life.

0830 She's the author of Anne of Green Gables and that book's many Prince Edward Island-set sequels. But, surprisingly, Lucy Maude Montgomery spent a significant portion of her writing life in a small community in Ontario. Now her time in Leaksdale has been turned into a one-woman play starring Jennifer Carroll. Jennifer joined Mary to talk about the Lucy Maude that many of us know little about.

Maud Of Leaskdale is currently on stage at the historic Leaskdale Church IN Leaskdale, just north of Uxbridge, which is northeast of Toronto. There's a performance every Saturday night and Sunday afternoon all well as Thursday evening shows.
