0700 Everyone in Ontario set their clocks ahead one hour last weekend as we made the transition from Standard to Daylight Saving Time. Well, ALMOST everyone. The residents of Atikokan NEVER adjust their clocks when everyone else is springing forward or falling back. And Mayor Dennis Brown told Mary Ito why.

If you'd like to know more about the town that never changes its clocks, you can visit the Atikokan website.

0730 Quebec singer Florence K has a distinguished musical pedigree. Make that VERY distinguished. And she's coming to Ontario for a rare appearance. That was Line Boily's cue to join Mary Ito. Line hosts Champ Libre which is heard weekday afternoons on Radio Canada. And she gave Mary "le scoop" on Florence K.

0800 Spring is almost here...and the new gardening season is on many minds. Fresh Air's favourite gardener, Marjorie Harris, has a new book. It's called Thifty Gardening From The Ground Up. Marjorie took advantage of the spring-like weather to pay a visit to Mary and "cultivate" some gardening thoughts.
Listen audio (runs 9:46)
Thifty Gardening From The Ground Up is published by House Of Anansi Press.

0830 This is Brain Awareness Week ...a good time to think about the organ that ALLOWS you to think. Sandra Witelson does a LOT of thinking about the brain. She's a professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University in Hamilton. And she offered her take on what our brains are capable of when she joined Mary.
Listen audio (runs 9:01)
If you'd like to know more about Sandra and her research, we've linked to the entry about her on the website.
