CBC Docs POV

CBC's award-winning documentary programming moves to Sunday nights this fall.

Starting September 24, David Suzuki's The Nature of Things will launch its new season at 8/8:30 NT with The Wild Canadian Year, a 5-part series showcasing Canada's extraordinary wildlife, followed by a new season of CBC Docs POV (formerly Firsthand) at 9/9:30 NT.

It’s a new name for this ongoing series offering unique and often unexpected point-of-view documentaries that ignite discussions, question perspectives and open up conversations about relevant issues. From racial discrimination to sugar dating, from mysterious murders to questioning criminal responsibilities, CBC Docs POV will make you see your world in a different light.  The new season launches on September 24 with Bee Nation, a charming documentary that follows students as they prepare for the first-ever First Nations Provincial Spelling Bee in Canada.
