Staff Sgt. Blundell's statement
We asked to speak to Staff Sergeant Robert Blundell about the allegations against him. He declined our request but sent a statement from his lawyer denying the women's claims.

Because Staff Sergeant Robert Blundell has worked undercover for a good part of his career, it is hard to find photos or information about him. Below is a timeline of his career, provided by the RCMP:
 
April 13, 1981: Robert Blundell joins the RCMP.
 
October 27, 1981: Posted to the RCMP detachment in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

June 3, 1986: Transfers to Red Deer, Alberta.
 
February 7, 1988: Transfers to the 88 Olympics Unit.

March 1, 1988: Returns to Red Deer.
 
October 13, 1989: Leaves on a mission to Namibia.
 
April 9, 1990: Returns to Red Deer.
 
September 19, 1994: Transfers to RCMP "E" Division in British Columbia. 
 
March 27, 1995: Promoted to the rank of Corporal in "E" Division.
 
January 19, 1999: Promoted to the rank of Sergeant in "E" Division.
 
Januuary 2, 2002: Transfers to "E" Division Probe team, Ports/Border.
 
December 12, 2002: Promoted to Staff Sergeant with the "E" Division Probe team, Ports/Border.
 
August 27, 2004: Transferred to "E" Division Protective Operations.
