We first met Maria Cornejo in 1998, just after she had opened Zero, a design studio and store filled with clothes that fashionable people found irresistible. This season, Maria is growing her business again; she’s putting on her first big runway show, a necessary but nerve-wracking step in the evolution of Zero.
