Stephen Burrows is the most famous designer you’ve probably never heard of. In the mid-seventies, his simple jersey garments in bright, bold colours defined New York City style and he was a household name, living the glamourous, jet set lifestyle. Then, in 1983, fed up with the demands of the fashion business, he retired from the scene, leaving his fans and friends wanting more… until this season.
