As designers go you can't get much more eccentric than Russell Sage. In his early days Russell quit fashion college to join a circus. Then he became an antique dealer. And now he is back in the fashion arena performing intellectual acrobatics and anarchic stunts with thought-provoking one-off creations. The theme for Sage's spring/summer collection was "the hunter and the hunted" starting with colonial blood sports and ending up on a parody of fashion conglomerate headhunting. Sage prides himself on being a fashion rebel and gets great pleasure turning conventional expectations inside out.
