Phi - Fall/Winter 2006

Under the care and guidance of its creative director – Andreas Melbostad – Phi is maturing into a line of constructive clothing noted for quality workmanship. For Fall/ Winter 2006 Melbostad combined Art Deco patterns with the fashion sensibility of Ossie Clark. Liquid silhouettes cut from soft fabrics and trumpet hems shown with high boots brought a fresh complexity to the garments.

Phi - Spring/Summer 2006

Shaking off his image as the goth-father Andreas Melbostad took Phi to new levels of colour and design for Spring/Summer 2006 and he did so with the help of pop art specialist Andy Warhol.

Phi - Fall/Winter 2005

Fashion fate works in strange ways. In the same season that New York loses Helmut Lang, it gains a young Norwegian named Andreas Melbostad whose collection for Phi is capturing the hearts of Helmut’s girls. Phi is the label backed by Susan Dell, wife of computer billionaire Michael Dell.
