Before Marc Jacobs perfected his downtown rock chick look, Martine Sitbon was the fashion world's resident authority on cool, urban-girl chic. She's softened up her aesthetic over the past few years, but Martine still likes to season her avant garde collections with a little grit. For Fall/Winter 2004, she took her customer back to the 1920's for a little romance.

French designer Martine Sitbon works outside the realm of classic French designers. A great storyteller at heart, she combined the athletic trend of the season with her own interest in old circuses. She specializes in beautiful quirky clothes. The result was beautiful clothes done in an unusual quirky manner.
