Isaac Mizrahi was the darling of New York fashion editors for most of the nineties. After being forced out of business in 1998, he has reinvented himself twice in the past year with both a signature line for discount retailer Target, and a made to order, high-priced line of custom pieces through Bergdorff Goodman. Fashion File caught up with him shortly after he brought both together on the same runway, in the same outfit, in a style of dressing he has named “High-Low”.
