Donna Karan - Fall/Winter 2003

This season was all about steps in a new direction for Donna Karan.
Step one was a change in venue: after years of presenting her collections in her small seventh avenue showroom, Donna Karan has moved her runway show to a new space, designed by her show producer Alex de Betak. Step two in her new direction was her collection for Fall/Winter 2003, a radical departure from her look of recent seasons. Radical as it was, it was hardly new territory for the veteran designer.
