I was surprised and saddened this morning to learn about the death of 20 year-old model Ruslana Korshunova. She was found Saturday morning outside her apartment building after having apparently leapt from her 9th floor balcony. Having appeared on the covers of Russian Vogue and French Elle, there are reports that she had made a series of emotional posts on various internet sites which may be a clue to her emotional state-of-mind. Ruslana was three days away from her 21st birthday.
