You're welcome, Supermodels.
WWD has just featured a long article on the return of the supermodels, who are apparently poised to dominate the Fall 08 campaigns. There is lots of discussion about the longevity of the careers of Naomi, Linda, Amber, et al., and how time makes them "more interesting" and how they will always be "irreplaceable". But, somehow, they fail to give credit where credit is due - namely, to us, here at Fashion File!
I mean not to seem immodest, but we did, after all, remind the world of their existence this past fall with our Greatest Supermodel of All Time series. Why, just a few weeks ago, Michael Kors was going on and on to us about how his whole office watched in breathless anticipation to see who would be crowned the winner. And now, just a season later, they are suddenly the It girls again. Coincidence? We think not. We're expecting our cut of the campaign fees any day now...
