Matthew Coon Come reacts to Nathalie Normandeau's resignation
Last week, Grand Chief Matthew Coon Come was on a trip to China with the premier of Quebec. They were there to promote the Plan Nord. The 25-year project promises 80 billion dollars in economic returns for the north. Since that trip however, things have become a bit uncertain, with the resignation of the minister responsible for the Plan Nord - Nathalie Normandeau. Roderick Rabbitskin spoke to Grand Chief Matthew Coon Come about what her departure means for the Plan Nord and for the people of Eeyou Istchee.
