On the Edge national special

dervla-and-bike-1994.jpg
On the Edge is a show all about introducing you to people who push their limits for work or just pleasure. Host Paul Karchut takes a crack at street luging, hang gliding, water ski jumping and bull riding. He also chats with world-renowned travel author Dervla Murphy to find out about her approach to adventure and Vancouver-native William Winram tells us about his unusual career - swimming with sharks for a living. Perhaps On the Edge will inspire you to get a bit more adventurous, too!

The special airs on February 20th from 4-5pm across Canada on CBC radio one or listen to it here at your convenience...

And while you're listening, check out this video of William Winram swimming with a great white shark.
