Screening kids for high blood pressure
A group of U.S. doctors is urging that physicians in North America routinely screen children for high blood pressure.
This, despite the fact that hypertension is typically considered an adult illness.
The doctors say the growing prevalance of obesity and type 2 diabetes in kids is cause for concern. But they admit that testing children's blood pressure is a somewhat trickier task.
