It’s the 16th Annual CBC Turkey Drive and we need your help!
The campaign runs from Monday, December 12 to Monday, December 19 and our goal is $225,000 (7500 turkeys valued at $30 each).

Donating is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Online now
  2. In person at Edmonton Food Bank
  3. In person at CBC in City Centre Mall (weekdays 7:30am - 6:00pm / weekends noon –5:00pm)
    *donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt from Edmonton’s Food Bank

Plus during the campaign well also be selling the CBC Flavours of Edmonton cook book at CBC during Turkey Drive Hours. So if you are planning on donating-why not pick up a cook book for $15. A great gift and all money will go to the Food Bank as part of the CBC Turkey Drive.

During the campaign we also have some great holiday events.

Put the Fun in Fundraising!
Get your school, business, and/or organization involved to help feed the hungry this holiday season. The K-12 school that donates the most to the CBC Turkey Drive will win the Junior Turkey Spirit Award and organization that contributes the most will win the Turkey Spirit Award!

Holiday Events

Turkey Spirit Awards

The organization and school that contributes the most to the 16th Annual CBC Turkey Drive will win the Turkey Spirit Award.

The trophy will be engraved with the name of the winning organization/school, and be presented by a CBC Personality on January 10th, and can be kept for display until the following December.

Plus a round of applause to our 2010 Turkey Spirit Award winners:

  • Junior Turkey Spirit Trophy: Holyrood School who donated 688 turkeys ($17,200)
  • Turkey Spirit Award: Wilco Contractors who donated $23,270
