BC Ferries Fairness report
A new report [click to download PDF] says BC Ferries violates the BC government's fiduciary obligation to 20% of British Columbians.
It argues coastal communities are being treated unfairly by the government because of how the crown corporation is structured. The report also calls into question whether the corporation is broke.
The report was written by Gordon Wilson, former leader of the BC liberals and past NDP Transportation and Ferries Minister and Dave Formosa, mayor of Powell River, one of the people who spearheaded this report.
