Next week is Bike To Work Week. This is the time of year dusty bikes get pulled out of the garage, creaky chains and all. Even if you ride all year round, chances are your bike needs a bit of a tune-up.

Erik Price runs VanCycle, a mobile bike shop. He says the most common problems he encounters are worn-out parts (chains, brakes) and improperly inflated tires. Greasing your chain on a regular basis can go a long way towards improving your ride and saving wear' n' tear on your bike (and money). Washing your bike helps too.
