BC Superweek

Starting Friday, some of North America's top professional cyclists will converge in the lower mainland for BC Superweek to compete in various races. Past racers include a young Lance Armstrong and Alison Sydor, who won both won Gastown Grand Prix in 1991.

Former pro-racer Mark Ernsting is Race Director for several of the competitions. He's pictured in front of a Gastown corner where many racers have been known to wipe out.
