Biking in and around Stanley Park can be one of the great joys in this city. It can also be very crowded, especially when you factor in pedestrians, strollers, bladers and everyone else who loves to enjoy the park. That's way the Vancouver Park Board has put together a draft Stanley Park Cycling Plan.

The goal is to improve the experience for everyone, as more and more users visit Stanley Park on foot and on wheels. I spoke to Park Board Commissioner and chair (and avid cyclist) Constance Barnes, and Park Board Planner Alan Duncan about the draft plan. They're pictured below at two particularly busy sections of the park seawall.
