Inaugural Ride

More and more folks are taking to the streets on two wheels, around Vancouver and around the world. Even if you don't ride a bike, chances are, cycling still affects you in some way, whether it's passing commuters on your way into work, or cursing (or praising) the bike lanes.

That's why we've launched "High Velocity," a weekly look a cycling issues and culture. For our first leg of this ride, we spoke with Momentum Magazine's Tania Lo and Vancouver City Councillor Geoff Meggs about the rise in the number of bikes on the road, and how to best move forward. Plus we heard from folks on the street about downtown Vancouver's separated bike lanes.

If you've got cycling story that you think needs to be "spoken" about, let us know at earlyed@cbc.ca.
