Downtown Granville Street was once the city's "movie row." This Sunday, the Empire Theatres (formerly the Granville 7) will screen its final films. Margaret Gallagher talked to historian John Atkin, Videomatica's Graham Peat, and Vancouver City Councillor Heather Deal about the past and possible future of movies on Granville and elsewhere.
