Exploring Malkin

The possible removal of the Georgia Viaducts has raised the idea of establishing the "Malkin Connector." This could mean widening what is currently an industrial roadway and extending it past its current terminus at Glen to the east and Jackson to the west. It would also move traffic off Prior and onto Malkin Avenue.

The concept dates back to the establishment of Malkin Avenue back in the 1950s. We explored the physical roadway, and some of the concerns around the idea.
