Mapping Culture in the West End

The City of Vancouver is putting together a new community plan for the West End. As part of the process, they're asking the public to help map the cultural assets of the diverse neighbourhood, from art to buildings to businesses to organizations to programming.

City planner Holly Sovdi is leading a public cultural asset mapping session July 27, from 9 am - noon at the West End Community Centre. Longtime West End resident Gail Brown plans to attend, where she will put "The Mansion" on the map. Anyone who lives, works or plays in the West End is invited to attend this session. You can check city website for more ways to contribute to the process.
