Thanks to an email from Jim in Richmond, I've been off on listening to even more library music than before, like DeWolf and KPM... Monty Python used a lot of production music in their skits on record, and in films as well: all the instrumental passages in The Holy Grail are sourced from library cues, including Anthony Mawer's "Country Wide".

Roberta Flack was at the top of the Billboard charts this week 40 years ago, and Tiny Tim would've been 80.

Next week I'll have some female singers from the 60s era of British pop, and to get you ready for that Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich followed up by the Foundations!
