And Tom Heemskerk in Victoria sent in this email for anyone in the Victoria area who would like to toast Shisa, the Royal Theatre & McPherson Playhouse resident dog:
Many, many kind words and thoughts have come my way since Shisa's passing, and I thank you for them! It's obvious Shisa made an extraordinary number of good friends at the theatres and throughout downtown, and so I think it will be fitting to have an informal little gathering in his honour - which will be on Monday, 25 July from 6-8 pm at the Garrick's Head Pub in Bastion Square. Drop by if you can to have a visit, look at some photos, and raise a glass to our buddy.
