Bit of a 70s flashback for today - starting with a new take on a disco-lite hit from Canadian jazz-cover queen Lori Cullen.
Then two superacts of the 70s are touring BC at the end of May: Supertramp and Burton Cummings.
And sad news that the classical trumpetist David Mason, who played the famous piccolo trumpet solo on "Penny Lane" died at the age of 85.
And it's Delia Derbyshire's birthday - she was a pioneer and very influential member of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, famous for making the Dr. Who theme sound the way it does. More info on her (including sound samples) is available at delia-derbyshire.org.
