What's a Greenvention? Well, it's an eco-friendly idea that makes a big difference in the world. SunChips recently introduced their Greenvention: the world's first compostable chip bag. And now, CBC's Dragons' Den has teamed up with SunChips to search for the best Greenvention.

Deadline for submission is Thursday April 22nd, 2010 at 5 PM ET

Every entry must submit a video for public discussion on the Dragons’ Den website.

There are 2 ways to submit your Greenvention video:

1. Fill out your application online, and upload your video audition through the Dragons’ Den site starting on March 1st.

2. Apply in person at one of our audition locations, and pitch your Greenvention to our staff. Your audition will be recorded on camera and posted on the Greenvention site for discussion. Please note your audition might be edited for brevity.

What your Greenvention audition should include

In 2 minutes or less you should be able to explain your Greenvention, and pitch why your Greenvention deserves a $100,000 prize from Sunchips.

Example:

Hello dragons! My name is ____ I’m from _____. My GREENVENTION is _____.

Explain your product and address the three criteria as outlined in the application form: IMPACT, FEASIBILITY and PROFITABILITY.
