Meet New Dragon Michele Romanow!

Today we're thrilled to announce three new Dragons for Season 10 — Manjit Minhas, Michele Romanow, and Joe Mimran!

Watch our first interview with Michele above, read more about her below and then check out interviews with Manjit and Joe!

This year Michele Romanow was a Dragon in Next Gen Den. Next year she'll be moving to Dragons' Den. You can watch her now in nine and counting episodes of Next Gen Den!

Michele Romanow is an engineer by trade, but a serial entrepreneur by nature. She is 29 years old, but don’t let her age fool you - this Dragon is an e-commerce powerhouse who already has four businesses under her belt.

Michele is co-founder of Buytopia.ca – one of Canada’s top daily deal sites that nabs deals on everything from luxe restaurants to spa treatments. Buytopia recently ranked #3 on Canada’s list of fastest growing companies. Michele’s on the list of 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada and Forbes chose her as the only Canadian to rank as one of the top 20 most disruptive “Millennials on a Mission.”

Her present passion is building tech businesses, but Michele has a diverse background. She launched her first business in 2006 while studying at Queen’s University -- it was the Tea Room, a zero-consumer-waste coffee shop on campus. Then she built Evandale Caviar,  a vertically integrated fishery that distributed high-end sturgeon caviar to luxury hotels and restaurants. After building up Buytopia, her latest venture, Snapsaves, is a mobile savings platform, which  was recently acquired by American couponing giant Groupon.

Michele grew up in Calgary, Alberta, but currently lives in Chicago.

Welcome to the Den, Michele! We'll see you when Season 10 starts in Fall 2015!
