Filmmaker Sonia Boileau brings us a touching photo montage essay and interviews with children playing outside their school in Kanehsatake, Quebec. The young people talk about their hopes and dreams for their community and their future.
Sonia Bonspille Boileau is a Mohawk from Oka and Kanesatake. She is a television producer working on children's programming with the Aboriginal production company, Nish Media in Gatineau. She won wide acclaim for her documentary Last Call Indian which tells the story of her journey to explore her Mohawk grandfather's life story and her Aboriginal roots. Read more
