On the eve of the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (Dec. 7 - 18), THE PASSIONATE EYE presents an encore presentation of Al Gore's Oscar®-winning film (Best Documentary 2007) An Inconvenient Truth. The film offers viewers an opportunity to witness the former vice-president's passionate crusade about climate change in which he examines many of the myths and misconceptions that he believes surround this critical issue. The broadcast also coincides with the release of Al Gore's latest book Our Choice: Creating a Green Future.
An Inconvenient Truth was a hit at the Sundance Film Festival
An Inconvenient Truthis also interspersed with Gore's personal jounrey, showing him as a young idealist who saw a massive environmental crisis looming to a Senator faced with a traumatic family tragedy that helped him shift his priority to devote most of his life to educating people about the planet.

An Inconvenient Truth was directed by Davis Guggenheim and produced by Laurie David, Lawrence Bender and Scott Z. Burns. Jeff Skoll and Davis Guggenheim are the executive producers and the co-producer is Leslie Chilcott.
