“The Evolution of Charles Darwin”
Charles Darwin’s views on a career changed during the Beagle voyage from vicar to gentleman expert. Janet Browne discusses Darwin’s dating life after his return to England and his attraction to his cousin, and future wife, Emma Wedgewood. After his marriage, Darwin threw himself into proving his theory in his ‘transmutation’ notebooks that eventually led to ‘On the Origin of Species’ and fame.
