Wow!! What an excellent documentary and chronology of events about Soviet Beatle influence. As I watched the show I hoped they would end with Paul's visits. Spectacular. I still shake my head in disbelief: the power of the Greatest Band of all time. In many ways the Beatles impact on The Soviet Union was much more crosscutural, ageless and ignored political views. They are the glue that brought the people together. Amazing.

music styles in the west and were denied the
freedom of listening the Beatles songs by an
older generation of communists in power that
tried to control everything the younger
generation had access to. The younger Russians decided that they would no longer
support communism if it would not let them
