What a very informative doc. It definately has me thinking twice before I buy salmon or tuna or any seafood for that matter. Living on the west coast of BC, we are seeing firsthand the lower salmon stocks returning to spawn. I hope government takes action before we have the same result as they had on the east coast with the cod. Thanks CBC for showing these informative and important documentary's.

Thank you for your informative documentary ,
The End Of The Line . At the end of the
film that i watched on TV , there was six
short sentences in white on a black
background that were unreadable because
the print was too small , why did they
bother to put them there if you can ' t
read them ?
Also , meat is muscle tissue ,
does not matter if it 's beef , pork , poultry
or fish ; I see there are companies that
trying to grow muscle tissue ( meat ) for
consumption without the animal . Google
test-tube meat . Then we would no
longer have to capture ocean fish or
grow farm animals , something to think
about .
