I grew up in East Germany in a town called Wurzen about 2 hours from Berlin and I had a great childhoud there it was a great live but the older people who lifed through the time the wall went up and down where my parents and they never complained about anything it was hard for my dad because his sister lifed in west Germany and they allways had to visit us and he went there 2 times as i remember and he where not allowed to take family with him we had to stay behind because as a injurence that he would come back, anyways the life was good everyone had work and there where not that many difficulties like these days.
You still have the diffrent between people from east and west. I was happy when the wall came down because that ment traveling to every part of the world.

This film is a treasure, both for its approach to one of the most meaningful events of our time and for the quality of its production. Producer Lucie Gagnon and Director Sylvène Gagnon deserve high praise for the quality of this work along with Director of Photography Gaétan Morisset. It must have been a labour of love for editor Bernard Lapointe to wrap up this delightful package into a one hour documentary.
