Shock Wave

March 6, 2009 9:44 AM

If you love a day at the beach, or if you live anywhere near the coast from California to British Columbia - then brace yourself! Geologists and oceanographers tell us that beyond any reasonable scientific doubt, what happened in Sumatra will happen here. We need to prepare for the same megathrust earthquake and the same train of killer waves that devastated Indonesia in 2004.

Tell us what you thought of this film.

I noticed that Ucluelet, Tofino and the surrounding area were highlighted in this documentary, as well as the Ahousaht Nation on Flores Island. I was living on Flores in the summer of 2005 when we had an earthquake warning. They did a great job of making sure everyone in the community was alerted and informed of where to meet and how long they had. The earthquake was centered down in Oregon, so the concern was for a tsunami. Flores Island is also a popular place for backpackers and kayakers to stop and camp on the west coast during the summer; several people were sent out on ATV's to the coast to warn them and bring anyone back. We found out later that city officials and the resorts in Tofino had failed to warn people so as not to frighten them or cause unnecessary alarm! I was born and raised on Vancouver Island, and I believe that we are not fully prepared, nor does it seem that we will even be warned when it really counts.

Shockwave should be seen by anyone living within 150 km of a coast. The events of the next handful of years will show that tsunamis are capable of much further reaches inland and to higher elevations than the documentary described. Historic evidence of mega tsunamis is not uncommon. We have to expect some soon.

As an author of 7 books on the practical use of dreams and visioning, the solution for predicting earthquakes in advance has been known for thousands of years. It's prophecy/foresight or whatever you want to call the ability to foresee, turned into the practical elements that it contains, along with appropriate responses. The difficulty in the past has been the communicating of the problem and solution in a timely manner. The internet solves part of the problem. The rest of it is solved by adding up the numbers of people who report dreams relating to the dangers of being swept away by the waves, drowned or otherwise harmed, along with their location.

A website under development will be used to solve this problem, godofdreams.com and hopefully it will be ready in time to deal with the next Cascadia events, early this summer. My ability to foresee indicates Vancouver will experience 3 major earthquakes within a year. It isn't prepared for it. (I used to live there, and felt it was time to leave.)

New in town, I had just come out of the Port Alberni arena to hear their Tsunami warning test. Although impressive, this warning will come from bobbing buoy’s placed around the Pacific Ocean and a time factor would prohibit a warning to boats and communities out of range.

Ideally a Tsunami warning should be executed when a strong earth quake is detected. Problem is that these people do not know what causes an Earthquake or Tsunami and in issuing a warning are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

Tone of sound caused by erratic Earth tipping (magnetic pole movement) interacting with the Earths force magnetisim causes an earthquake that can also cause a tsunami “except” in these earth tippings it takes moon and ocean exposure to create the tsunami. It’s the reason why you can have a tsunami or rouge wave with out an earthquake and why an earthquake without a tsunami.

Erratic Earth tipping has the Earth dramaticly moving back and forth on it's magnetic axis. (unknown)

On your next Arctic trip ask the locals if they have noticed the location of spring Sunrise and Sunset to be abnormal!

"There is NO such thing as Global Warming"! Dramatic Earth tippings has the Earth changing its exposure to both the Sun and Moon. Moon exposure the reason for water movement (ocean level), Sun exposure the reason for the melting of Kilimanjaro. These tippings for now have alternating cooling and warming happening. Where it is warmer in one area it will be cooler in another. (more water in one area less in another. Thats for now, eventually and again the Arctic becomes tropical and the Ocean resides in Nevada.

Considering the likes of a Tsunami warning;
It is of GREAT IMPORTANCE to establish a constant monitoring system for Canada's North Magnetic Pole Movements.

Hello...

I just got this link from a friend who said they saw me on this documentary giving a speech in Seaside but the full online video is only available in Canada. Anyone have any ideas on how else I can view this? Or if I can purchase it?
