Conspiracy Files: Lockerbie

January 23, 2009 2:13 PM

Conspiracy Files: Lockerbie investigates conspiracy theories that haunt Britain's worst terrorist attack, the bombing of Pan AM flight 103 that crashed in Lockerbie, Scotland 20 years ago.

After a massive police and FBI investigation, a Libyan intelligence officer was found guilty of mass murder, but he has now been granted a second appeal. Twenty years on (Dec. 21 was the anniversary), will the full story of Pan Am flight 103 finally emerge?

Tell us what you thought of this story.

Many years ago I remember seeing a Doc. about two factions of the CIA having a bitter dispute.
One faction boarded an air plane, going back to the USA, with information the other did not want brought back.
So they had to do something to stop them. Lybia would be the Lee H. Oswald of this "Mission", & the rest is history, as they say.
