I would love to hear how many of you in Toronto have the same problem with sleep! We should all get together and have a party every night!

Great show, well done. Insomnia is a serious health issue. I have struggled with this issue for over 35 years. It may even force me out of the work place sooner than I would choose to retire. In my case, I have worked shift work for my entire adult life. Next year will be my last year on shift. I would be very interested in knowing if Alan was succesful in resetting his internal clock after he completed filming (Wide Awake) so he could spend more time in the morning with his young son. If he was able to accomplish his goal, there may be some hope for others who are afflicted with this disorder.

Really good documentary!
It's surprising to realize that we are TWO night owls in the house with the this problem! :O ... which doesn't make it easy to change the bad habbits...

Very timely show! Watched this with my boyfriend who suffers from insomnia. I asked him at certain points if it was like that for him and was surprised that he was agreeing with every symptom, including the music playing over and over.

I'm curious though if the filmmaker ever did get any sleep in the end and if so, how he did it.
