Can We Save Planet Earth?

According to the legendary broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough, climate change is the biggest challenge facing the world, "We've reached a tipping point and we must act now to save our planet."

Widely considered one of the pioneers of the nature documentary, Sir David Attenborough has written and presented ten major series surveying nearly every aspect of life on Earth. Long criticized by environmentalists for not using his mesmerising platform to push the green message, Attenborough has taken up the battle cry for global warming. Read more about the series.

5 Ways to Save the World

In 5 Ways to Save the World, five of the world's top scientists propose five radical scientific inventions which could stop global warming dead in its tracks. The ideas include: a giant sunshade in space to filter out the sun's rays and help cool us down; forests of artificial trees that would breath in carbon dioxide and stop the green house effect and a fleet futuristic yachts that will shoot salt water into the clouds thickening them and cooling the planet.

Are these the crazy ideas of mad scientists in white coats or could they be our saviours and save the world from global warming? Tell us what you think.
